Nothing ever of my own I sing,
What you read from soul does spring.
So it was when the Sages sang
From hill tops or river banks.
So it will be when I am no more,
Life can’t reach the soul’s shore.
The Truth is One, The Vedas sing,
Same Truth my soul does out bring.
The Truth is not anyone’s copyright;
Let’s all sing in its praise and delight.
The Bible,
The Quran,
The Gita,
sing the same,
They differ only
in language and script,
Like the living beings
in different hues & frame.
Beauty is Truth, with it unite,
Love mankind, why do you fight?
Your truth and my truth, doesn’t it divide!
In songs of Beauty and Truth take pride.
A wondeful message in this piece CP, very profound and interesting to read, thanks 10 Lynda xx
Good morning again poet friend. Even though it is a beutiful poem and well written it is not correct in the comparriosn. You find love taught in the Bible and no where do you fine it taught in the The Quran. The Quran is a book of hate and of hatred for anyone who does not agree with the religion it promotes. I enjoyed the poem, blessing! Loyd
I always love poems with a philosophy behind them. A couple of the lines did not rhyme. Most of them did. A little inconsistent. All in all, the message was the grand thing here. BEAUTY, TRUTH, and LOVE are what I call the THREE ETERNALS.This is because they make up the essence of GOD, THE ETERNAL. A wonderful message. GW62
A very philosical write...... Very nicely penned... Bonnie
Sir…knowledge [lower case] is at the base of pyramid… When Wisdom [in upper case] will bloom it’ll touch the summit point…and it is Unique One [in upper case] We at baseline of pyramid….make fight …I’m right … I’m right… I’m right…in iteration …in ad infinitum As enlightenment will come in cascade way [may be sudden in full go] in our ascent all I’m right will be less multiplied by ad infinitum… Mathematically it can be said inversely proportional i.e. greater the ascent lesser to the closer of baseline And all you wrote is Wisdom…not knowledge…thanks for such a great poem… 10++ Ms. Nivedita UK
What you read from soul does spring I love that line.. Its so true this whole poem written by a great poet thank you for sharing this wonderful piece with me Krista
This is what most of the Indians think, a secular attitude. There is only one God, call Him, Allah, Yehovah, Ram, ParaBrahma, etc. our prayers reach Him in wh atevr form we express. Essence of Bhagath Geeta.
The Bible, The Quran, The Gita, sing the same, They differ only in language and script, Like the living beings in different hues & frame Beautiful and true---- anju
