Love Lord's Word Poem by C. P. Sharma

Love Lord's Word

Rating: 5.0

What use is the rosary?
What use is the sword?
If heart doesn’t enshrine
The Name of the Lord.

Knockings of conscience
You never heard;
Wealth, woman and wine
Your vision blurred.

Let compassion be the beads
And contentment its thread;
Let the Truth be the shield
And fearlessness spread.

Embrace the life with open arms,
Let love be the sword;
Its mighty tsunami waves
Will win to you the whole world.

So, don’t desecrate His temple,
Let your heart enshrine His Word.

A poem hi-lighting the actuall spirituality involved in Lord's love and the calmness one feels in it. A very inspirational poem with essence enriched with a message of total submission to whatever we do......10

the first two lines exoress the comparison between the church and the state..rosary and swords always go in separate ways but together in an art of war..grace

Another thought-provoking poem. I particularly like the rhythm and imagery of stanza 3.
