I have traveled to countries far and wide;
in Spain: Barcelona, Madrid and Vigo
I have seen people buying weed
just like buying chocolates from a shop;
in California, Vegas, Nevada,
in Amsterdam, Brazil and Denmark drugs are sold so legally,
and consumed by people as per their own will and wishes.
Yet peddlers who sell these drugs
in many under-developed countries
and peddlers who travel internationally
are arraigned at airports
that they have to face arrests and imprisonment
when all they do is drug peddling
for a better livelihood or to get rich instantly.
The drug nexus is such a huge network
that the lone peddler is not the only offender
but it is the chain that operates so widely
from north to south, from east to west
and the one who faces the brunt of it all
is the poor peddler who sells or disburses the drugs
although he has never encountered or inter-acted
with the main boss who runs and owns the show.
The drug-syndicate is such a lucrative business
done fugitively and in utmost secrecy;
yet everywhere is caution and warning
that drugs should not be sold,
drugs should not be marketed or consumed.
What is this challenge man has to face
when freedom is his basic right,
where man is free to consume whatever he desires
and drink whatever he prefers?
Does a man not drink all day long?
Does a man not turn into an alcoholic over years?
Is there a law to prevent excessive drinking?
Is there a law to prevent drinking alcohol?
Is there a law to prevent intoxication?
When the world is today so advanced,
where is the control over man's addiction?
Who has ever been able to stop the drug trafficking?
As it has been going on for centuries
will it not be more reasonable to legalize and liberalize
drug sale, drug-usage and drug business
as atleast the government will know the statistics
and prevent all secrecy and illegal drug manufacturing
that even the authorities will be able to question and control
the quality and the source of drugs
the quantity and the user of drugs
and above all legalize the companies or chains
that supply drugs so that there is a check
and inspection on all the drugs that are supplied
or manufactured at every corner of the world
and that will be the only way to stop
the abuse of drugs and illegal sale of drugs.


(Hence, legalization of recreational drug use and drug trade
should be rationalized before the legislative bodies of the world and decriminalization should be regulated.)
