I stare at the darkened sky
And realize that time has painfully gone by
I look below me and I see a river of blood
Within myself I realize that
I have been dying for a while
The tears stream down my face
But I have to force a smile in front of the world
A world that has betrayed me
But I still fight
I pick up my scythe
I move on as a new man
I have been re-awakened to myself
Many have been dying
The ones I love are in hiding
It’s time I come back from within the shadows
And show the world they are not alone
For a hero has been awoken
And I shall bring forth the light
