Into The Thin Poem by Adam Watson

Into The Thin

Not found at sea level. No
where is provided
a chance to wander
the distance between below
- inaccessible not no
from where any else
until unconnected the connecting
- then off again
into the thin to become one's own again

to land and return
to the beginning. Again
round to the scene streaming far behind
the weighted atmosphere
until the rebreathed confine creates
its own hopeless pardon within the thin
and holding a breath longer and long
brings me closer
again.
