Open Market Poem by Adam Watson

Open Market

Talisman are like three for a dollar
but they won't do a thing
until pressed into the palm of an unsuspecting
and told something unimportant
- - not to them but to us
so the old idea of chance
and luck becomes lost
with the stolen two
I gave away

Great poem...the theft of chance and luck...very ironic.
