Into The Vast Distance Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Into The Vast Distance

Into the vast distance
of tomorrows and yesterdays
fluttering in the sharp, cold wind
was an alluring impression
of you painted in a thousand sunrises.
The evening stars start to wave hello
as Now presents itself
in a crowd of Then and There
scattered like wolves in the moonlight,
howling in harmonic unison.
Wishes and thoughts envelope us
in the beautiful acrylic actuality
of what was written and happening
under this clear night setting;
we were one and swallowed into Earth.
