Invisible Torture Poem by ash cummins

Invisible Torture

The screaming I can’t bear it.
Why does no one else hear?
How it rings inside my head!
Never ending…

The pain it tears,
It spreads, leaving only numbness.
Why does no one else feel this?
I’m locked inside this invisible torture!
I can’t close my eyes,
Or it will sneak up and over power me.
No one else sees what is happening…

But now they hear the scream,
Now they feel the pain,
Then they see what was happening.
But it’s too late,
To fight the evil which has already passed.
It’s too late…

…It’s already taken me!
