Involuntarily Poem by R. Ariffin

Involuntarily

The silent emptiness of the sea
The projecting of love put on pause
The forlorn that is growing with regular fury
The agonizing reality of a lost cause

The part of you that you’re leaving behind
The same pain from a different cut
The face that limitlessly plagues your mind
The warmth that is parting from the heart

The cold that has becoming ridiculously absurd
The constant reminding of resemblance and similarity
The fading echo that you thought you heard
The misery of forgetting, involuntarily
