Irony Of Loneliness Poem by Philo Yan

Irony Of Loneliness

Rating: 5.0

If you feel lonely
I can't judge you

What keeps me alive?
I feel like drowning
What keeps me alive?
It is my will to survive...

For something to do
I pick out the wrong
For someone to love
I cling on too long

Willingly desperate
To heal with an outside fix
Desperately willing
Mind plays pathetic tricks...

The irony of the inner lonely fracture...
Isn't this loneliness, an inside job?
Only I can mend my sad caricature.
Only I can swim to the top.

Despair of loneliness very feelingly depicted. Yes, one malady where the patient has the medicine, she has the treatment, she is the patient, she the doctor.
