In the darkness of my mind
I search for serenity but cannot find,
I'm tired of uncertainty in this life
Where is the peace to end my strife.?

I'm well in body but troubled in mind
Pray tell me where to look and find,
I think I speak and act in love
Is that enough for Him above!

Are we all the same, do we all mistrust
Or is it just me who feels disgust?
Do you live in sin as I seem to do
Or is it just me and never you?

Do we all shed tears for Jesus the Jew
Or is it just me and never you?
For unlike you I've seen His light
Perchance my friend, you will tonight.

To receive His love and gain His trust
Leave the dark and spurn all lust,
Then watch His light radiantly shine
Don't wait for tomorrow, don't waste time.
