Is It Really Better To Have Failed In Love Than To Never Have Tried?

Rating: 5.0

They say it's better to have failed in love than to never have tried.
I wonder if its worth the tears that are cried
And being damaged inside
When we take on board the pain from someone who lied
I Sit here as someone who's love recently departed
I wish the whole ugly relationship had never started

'Taking on board the pain of someone who lied' is a major challenge and this verse quite honestly admits that at times there is no other answer than regret - very well written....10 from Fay.

This conceptual poem has the ideas behind it.The ideas supersede other “aesthetic” notions. These ideas take form of a contrast. They are seemingly oxymoronic forms, because the contradictory ideas are passive and they are used for the integration of the basic ideas. It is not a passive contemplation but an active creation of beauty....10
