Is It Right? Poem by Emma Haze

Is it right to cry,
to let the tears slip from my eyes,
Is it right to remember,
the memories of us together?

Is it right to be in pain,
when I remember all those days,
Where you lied to me,
and hurt me, in a thousand ways?

Is it right, to want to forget,
a time, way back when,
when I was my happiest,
Yet at the same time,
my saddest?

Is it right, God, to feel the way I do,
and know, deep down in my soul,
That he moved on to soon;
He didn't love me, did he, God?

He didn't care enough,
to fight,
He didn't care enough,
he simply just said
'Goodbye'
