Is The Capital Punishment As Per The Law Sufficient?
O' The Honourable judges who restrain the thieves
who steal at night, by keeping them in horrible prison!
In case of the people who cheat many ignorant public
by snatching the bribe and indulging in bribery
for doing the just actions and their routine duties,
Is the heavy punishment of killing such evil persons
with capital punishment of hanging as per the law, sufficient?

கைக்கூலி வாங்குவோரைக் கொன்றாலும் போதாது
அல்லினிற் களவு செய்பவரை வெஞ்சிறை
யில்லிடும் பண்பி னுக்கியைந்த மாக்களே
எல்லினில் எவரை யுமேய்த்து வவ்வலாற்
கொல்லினும் போதுமோ கொடியர் தம்மையே! 2
- மாயூரம் வேதநாயகம் பிள்ளை பாடல்
அல் - இரவு. வெஞ்சிறை - கடுங்காவல். எல் - பகல்.
பண்பினுக் கியைந்த மாக்கள் - பண்புடைய நீதிபதிகள்
