Is The God Conditional? Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

Is The God Conditional?

Rating: 5.0

Father and mother!
You have concern for me
You are interested in me.
Your actions are not conditional.
You do not alienate me
Because I fail to entreat you.
I have no fear that you would desert.
You often forgive my sins.
Must I pray the God, whom I fear? .
Is God’s action conditional?

Excellent work Shanmugam. It reminds me of a line from a Jethro Tull song referring to god: 'He's not the kind you have to wind up on Sunday'.
