Somanathan Iyer

It happens

unused for a long
tools become rigid
unsold for a long
things lose base value
unhealed for a long
wounds rot body parts
unhappy for a long
mind enters depression
untraveled for a long
road remains untraversable
unheard for a long
an event becomes obsolete
unmarried for a long
a person finds no takers
unused for a long
talent nap in concealment

Or, true to the Almighty plan,
That out of dust created man,
