I loved you back then
but you loved me not
You loved her
and that hurt a lot
I was constantly crying
when you talked of her
I wanted it to be me
it was all such a blur

But now things have changed
you say you’re so confused
You tell me you love me
but I guess I feel used
You’re still with her
I don’t see you letting go
It hurts but I understand
I just want you to know…

You’re everything to me
I couldn’t be without you
You’re not only the one I love
but my best friend too
