It Is Disgusting To Meet Rural Indian Characters

To pass the times
In the company of Indian Trishanku
Saying intermittently
Tin tickat mahawickat,
That Three-forked Fellow
Erupting about come three numbers,
Rural Dronacharya, Yudhisthira,
Yuryodhana, Dhritrashtra
Enacting improvised Mahabharata
To suit their treachery, conceit and deceit,
Living by fraud
And playing roles in the villages
Of illiteracy, poverty, hunger, scorching heat and summer,
Ignorance, scarcity, pain, sorrow and suffering,
The dens of village politics and treachery,
The gluttons-cum-Indian pahalwans doing dand-baithaka
As for taking much in the wedding and funeral feasts,
The kirtanias doing kirtana just for money
The odd and outmoded fellows
With outward Hari-bhakti and prema
Without having the inward streak within,
Some conservative pundits without Brahma-gnan
Just like diplomatic Chanakyas
Without knowing gnan-margs, bhakti-marga, karma-marga
Imparting moral lessons just for dana, gift,
The pahalwan rounding the lathi
To thrash the lathi from behind
On the head of Tinmudiya, Mr. Three-headed
Speaking with pun and doublespeak, screws, turns and twists
And taunts, criticism and irony,
Mr.Casteist talking about rigid caste-system,
Touchability and untouchability,
Mr. Gender Master talking about gender bias and prejudice,
Who a woman, who a man and what they should,
Mr.Astrologer going with the rounds of astrology
So with his inward black knowledge,
Mr.Palmist going by his palmistry
Always a trick-master with the sleight of hand.
