It's Always Been You Poem by Rosie Rose

I love him. And he doesn't love me back.
I love him for everything he is, but he doesn't for what I lack.
I would give up everything to hold him like I used to.
And maybe he would, too, if he only knew.
Is it pathetic to admit I'm nothing without him?
Probably. But I just hate how we've been.
I pretend that everything is fine.
Should I believe it'll get better with time?
I make up excuses for the way I act.
But honestly, its you I lack.
I cry, but thats nothing new.
I'm missing someone, and you wouldn't know who.

But its always been you.
