It seems ages since we met,
And then became good friends,
But our friendship will only grow with time,
I know it can never end.
Since childhood we have shared so much,
From clips and shoes and clothes,
To all our fantasies and dreams,
Our aspirations and hopes.
We've gone through the good times and the bad,
And were always on each other's side
You are much more than a friend to me,
In you I can easily confide.
I can tell you just anything,
May it be serious or silly
When I'm down I can count on you for advice,
When happy, I know you'll laugh with me.
You gave new meaning to my life,
Filled my days with cheer,
I can never ever forget you,
Whether we stay far or near.
Now the time has come,
For us to say 'Goodbye'
It's really hard to leave you,
Even as I write this, I cry.
But I'll never let you go,
Coz to me you mean a lot,
So what if you're far away,
Your memories will always linger in my heart.
One thing I can promise you,
And I take our friendship's swear,
That anytime you need me,
Just call me and I'll be there.
