It's Hiding In The Dark Poem by Jacob Biehl

It's Hiding In The Dark

It's hiding in the dark,
it's teeth are razor sharp.
Lock it up and toss the key,
It'll kill both you and me,

It's the dark that kills the light,
it survives off fear and fright,
mistakes wrong for right.

It's the dark side of me,
lock it up and toss the key.
The dark is eating me,
the kind of dark you've never seen.

It's pulling me down,
I'm gonna drown.
You better not make a single sound,
you better hide 'cause im hellbound.
Hope you don't curse or scream,
cause I'm taking you with me.

So lock me up and toss the key,
in my fleeting sanity!
