It's Not What, How We See Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

It's Not What, How We See

Rating: 2.0

But one thing, three odd ways it to greet:
Saintly men same soul see,
Of lust, flesh and beauty,
A ravenous wolf eyes food to eat,
One woman, three varied ways to wit!

Even stars we see were like this before many light years, we are always in our past. Present is nothing but an illusion. Such a sensitive thought so nicely presented in a funny style by the philosopher poet. No surprise, India is the land of philosophic thoughts.

Thank you so much for the kind words, 'philosopher poet', I doubt my shoulders are broad enough to carry the weight. But I agree India is the land of philosophic thoughts. Our sages were truly visionaries, not svapna-drshtas like imagining poets, but they would close their eyes and visualize things thought through. .

Thanks indeed, dear KM, for the feedback. These limericks say something that is solid, but in a lighter tone to laugh.
