I see you… I feel for you… my conscience convinced me to recognize the real you.



Not the social person you are night and day… but the one that hides the pain away; because I see your pain and I know you try… so don’t hold it in… it’s okay to cry.



It’s hard out here… I know… it’s like a stupid competition,



Everyone’s in the race trying to win; despite the repetition,



That up and down seesaw type of feeling we all feel without the recognition… that leaves us asking why! !



So I remind you; it’s okay to cry.



You try hard to get what you need, what you want and what you got,



You’ve got cleverness that couldn’t be taught… And I recognize it a lot… so I appreciate the person you’re aiming to be… the person that I see.



The one that went from being miss young lady; to full blown grown,



The one I know now… from the person I’ve never known.



Big sister… you stayed close to me for whatever reason (LOL) I don’t know,



But for as long as I can remember; you give me a real reason to grow.



So always spread your wings and do your best to fly,



And remember… as long as you try…
