It's Time To Let Go Poem by Edwin Serrata

It's Time To Let Go

You have to stop destroying yourself
Because you try to move, but the chains hold you back your pass.
And you have the key to set yourself free but act like you've lost it
You know if you move on then it's about leaving someone that never thought twice for you when you thought a thousand thoughts for them
And then never ask, 'Why am I still here."

Where are the benefits of falling off the cliff?
Just to know that the only thing that will catch me is the ground
And death will help me get onto my knees,
Where does the pain end at the yellow brick road to get back home?
Where do I lie between heaven and hell?
And when the fire burns my back you know who it is
And it's not mellorine it's yourself because you know and I know that there is something more than that one person
And I rather save myself from damnation then drown in my own sorrow.
