The Parting Poem by Edwin Serrata

The Parting

I know these feelings can only be dealt with you
The last hugs, smiles and exchange of words,
Will reside as a memory,
Maybe this is the last time I see you the way you are
Joyous,
Happy,
Content,

I become breathless
You walking away takes life from me,
I rather die then be apart
But I know our paths will collide again,
And our hearts will beat louder than drums
And our eyes brighter than stars
Because I love you

Love how no one can immitate your personna
This, vibe we get when we're together
And feeling shiftless when we're apart

But, now you're gone and i think
Do you miss me?
Because I miss you
And I will wait till we meet again
Friend
