It Was My Turn To Cook Today Poem by Royston Allen

It Was My Turn To Cook Today

Rating: 5.0

I hammered the steak ‘til it spread out wide
shrinking back again in the pan as it fried.
Along with the chips and red wine to please,
I added the onions, mushrooms and peas

This was the secret to my meal's success
but it left kitchen in rather a mess!

Hi Royston! I can empathise with you so well my friend! ! ! My husband is exactly the same - I think he believes I might not ask him to cook again as he is so messy- but his food is worth the mess! Loved this short but very sweet poem ..10 xx Lodigiana
