It Was War Poem by KwaNdebele Science School

It Was War

A sight that was so dreadful,
Definitely not beautiful.
It was playing with my emotions;
And it was drawing my attention.
Many People were murdered,
The world filled with wicked.
What was gone was friendship,
What did not exist was relationship:
Bloodshed was advertised.
It looked impossible.
I saw eternal life, I took some.
God's law was what they deft.
Some were left hopeless,
Some were left homeless.
