Itimate Adoration Poem by Dorsey Baker

Itimate Adoration

her body
so beautifully designed
his eyes almost
pop out of his head
as she walks in
her hips swaying
like the pendulum
of an old clock
he is invisible to
her
her attention upon
herself fully
he is forced
to restrain himself
thinking what he is
thinking a tension
that could explode
in success or failure
his brain scrambled
like an egg
if he could just get a kiss
if he could just get a hug.
