River of tears flows through my head
All I do, things are the same
Hopes, smiles and everything in between
All I do goes down the same

Now I'm standing alone in the rain
Every word I say ends in tears
Joy, laughter and the things you said.
Every memory of you melts into tears

Waiting on the bridge, awaiting the sounds
Of footsteps that once walked beside mine
The night is cold, missing the warmth,
Of hands I once held in mine

Memories of you haunts from the water
Time after time. It makes me lonely
Cloud of tears that bursts every night
Time after time, I'm still lonely

Down on the shore, hopes fade away
Deep down inside my tears I'll drown
Giving up never seemed so painful before
Deep down inside these regrets I down

You once left me so far behind
So blind to look beneath the skin
But I'm still coming back to you
So many hopes flowing under my skin
