Its Time Poem by Noelle Mott

Its Time

Its time to change,
Time to erase the past,
The past that changed me,
Ruined me, who I was
Caused me to become someone I'm not,
Life's not a fairy tale anymore
I need to look forward and not back
People change and I can change who I am
No more waiting for the time to stop,
Erase time, the minutes of the past
The past is the past, today is now,
Tomorrow is the future
My life wont change itself,
I need to change it myself
Let the people say what they want to say,
Go ahead, I'm not going to listen,
I know there lies, believe the rumors,
People believe lies and not the truth,
The world is difficult, we both know that,
We make our life reflect on one thing,
What others say, do, and think about
That's who they are, you should except it
The way it is, we're all different
You can change yourself, but nobody else
Don't change someone about what you want them to be
Their perfect the way they are, no matter what
We're all different and unique, the way we are
One step at a time, one foot in front of the other
Your going to get there, don't give up,
Its difficult, hard, and challenging,
But its your challenge, you can do this
Make the change you have always wanted to make,
We all want to become someone were not,
Transform yourself to someone else,
Change our appearance to look prettier,
Become a different individual,
A person more attractive to others,
Be excepted by those who don't except you
You wait for the time when people understand,
Understand how you feel or felt,
Make people suffer the way you did,
Like it doesn't matter to you at all,
Your different and can be excepted finally,
With your new appearance, like nobody knows,
Its you, you changed into someone your not,
A way to erase the past, what happened,
What happened all those years never occurred,
Its time for you to except yourself,
Except the person you are
Not the person you want to be.
