jab tum nahi the..toh kitna sukun tha

Jab tum nahi the
To kitna suku tha..

Mere aansuoon mei gham
Aur muskurahat mei sajeendagi na thee.

Meri siskiyon me dard
Aur hansi me unmadagi na thee.

Jab tum nahi thee
To kitna suku tha..

Mujhko tarikho me baas
Bitata waqt dikhta tha..
Kahi se aati koi ummeed nahi..

Raat subah ke intezar me bitati..
Aur subah raat ki raah takte..

Jab tum nahi thee
To kitna suku tha..

Dil mai umadte dard se
Chatpatate nahi thee..
Ummed ki khushi mei
Palke bhigote nahi the..

Dil chalta tha
Ki sanse chale..
Youn Bewajah dhadakta rukta
nahi tha..

Jab tum nahi thee
To kitna suku tha..

Jeete to thee
Par jeene ka ahsas nahi tha…
Aab khud me nahi.
Tumhare sansoo se sans lete hai
tumhare saath nahi
tumhare jeene se jeete hai hum..

Jab tum nahi thee
To kitna suku tha..

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
