RAINBOW......O...RAINBOW

Rainbow
o rainbow,
so distant.
come down from the horizon
sometimes
within the reach of my dreams.
Holding your arch in my palette
would like to paint
my life's whirlwinds
green.

Rainbow
o rainbow,
so distant.
come down from the horizon
sometimes
within the reach of my dreams.
Mirages of my desert
lie colorless
which pastels wont color,
nor does oils or acrylics.
Rainbow
o Rainbow
lent me some color
or paint them
bright and colorful
with your sheen.

Rainbow
o rainbow,
dont be so angry
dont be so cruel
dont lend me your colours
if you dont want
your just being in the horizon
colours crimson
my life, my soul, my dreams.
rainbow
o rainbow
so distant
come down from the horizon
sometimes
within the reach of my dreams.

You might have written this poem for your own thoughts but a reader is free to give it a meaning of his choice. I understand this poem that VIBGYOR that you desire are the seven commitments that a woman makes around the holy fire when she is tied with someone. One of the beauties of the Indian culture is the marriage ceremony that is solemnized in an amazing manner. (Report) Reply

Amongst the flowers I
am alone with my pot of wine
drinking by myself; then lifting

and mine in the wine cup, just
