Jealousy Poem by Lily Vasquez

Jealousy

I'm up
Seeing what I now see
It makes me wish I was fast asleep
I could close my eyes
But that doesn't make it go away
It's sitting right in front of me
Their happiness makes me queasy
But I'm pretty sure it won't last long
I'll give it a month
No. A week.

Ooo, ...think we've all been in this position at one time or another! Nicely done!
