Jealousy Poem by IFEOLUWA POPOOLA

Jealousy

When I heard you, who were so sweet and loving the best,
Leaving a 'beauty' for beauty,
Picking a blobfish - like human, dumping a
Humuhumunukunukuapua'a - like gem,
Yes, she's exceptional, until you wake up to her beautiful face in the night staring at you like three - fingers in wrong turn.
I hope you enjoy inhaling her sweet scents,
Sticking with you all day like a dead dog.

With her beautiful, skinny body and big forehead,
I guess you'll become the headmaster of your slum palace one day.
I see you holding her almost skeleton - like hands,
Gazing into her empty, Scary sockets,
Pulling her closer to your chest - it's necessary,
The wind might think she is a 'thing' and whisk her away. Oops!
Whispering in her ears won't bother me, at least I don't have ears like elf's,
Just be careful of slaps coming from those flat Indian bread - like ears.

And oh! Don't be suffocated by her sagging breasts like the witch's own in Ralia,
Be wary of germ - infested claws too.
My day of Mocking you is not yet here,
I'll come back for you.
Enjoy your 'beauty' while you can.
