Jersey Poem by Kay Barcelon

Jersey

Rating: 4.8

Spring in the east
Born into the wild
Life is never was

Morning ecstasy
Afternoon delight
A nighttime desert

Fall in the southwest
Candles burn in heat
Dark as chocolate

Winter's unjust gloom
Birds can’t lift and fly
Craving for summer

Rich and full of imagery - particularly liked the last verse - love nature poetry... take care. Joey
