John Deere Again Poem by Marilyn Lott

It’s coming once again, folks
Time to decorate with green
Tractors getting ready for the fair
For they’re anxious to be seen

All shined up to meet the public
At the Oklahoma State Fair
Some are quaint old relics
But many new ones will be there

Great designs and different models
All were built to work the farm
To get the crops in each year
With their strong amazing charm

You couldn’t raise a herd cattle
Without having a tractor around
It was needed to plant the crops
And of course to work the ground

So I can’t think of a better machine
At the fair it has become a trend
To put these green machines on parade
We want to see the John Deere again!
