Night cold and crisp
Snow falls thick and fast
Sky glittering with stars.
Children lay abed
Trying to stay awake
Wanting to see Santa Clause
Hear jingling of sleigh bells.
At Midnight Mass
Faithful gather in churches
Celebrating birth of Jesus
Praying for world of peace and love.
