Judge Not, Perceive Not... Poem by J.J B. Torment

Judge Not, Perceive Not...

Judge not, perceive not, those mistakes I don't make
Life's' little words of wisdom that, every day, I take

I know some different masses
That all come from different classes

Some of them are honest, humble and true
Some are devious… devil like, and crud

Some are rich, and wealthy beyond measure
Others are not, but their personality is their treasure

Some are wild and crazy, uninhibited and untamed
Others are mellow, and little boring, laid back and kinda plain

But all in their own way, in them, have some good and some bad
Some of them are so-called criminals… others are righteous, and rad

They each bring with them their own unique gift
Maybe to help another persons' life to lift

How you choose to see each person the way they can be
Is, in each moment, up to each one of us and what we really need

But never forget the story of the diamond in the rough
Next time you come across a person who seems tough

Maybe that person will become your next best friend
And be there for you in your life, to the very… bitter… sweet…end.
