Juncture Poem by Etienne Charilaou

Juncture

Here am I
at this juncture
knowing now
life ends not only with old age
but at anytime in any way;
in any of a number of gruesome ways,
and also ‘peacefully in their sleep'.
None are exempt or safe.

And having finally arrived,
perhaps, at wu-wei,
actionless action, clumsily put;
I wonder what surprises lie in store.
