Jussie Smollet, We Forgive You Poem by Ramona Thompson

Jussie Smollet, We Forgive You

Jesus weeps for your tortured soul, my son

Useless anymore to deny, so might as well embrace your sin

Search yourself and maybe you can find some peace deep within

Sad but true that you are only human

It's ok

Everyone makes mistakes

Someday with enough time and healing maybe we can forgive you

Move on from this horrible thing you have done

One bad moment should't be allowed to define you forever

Lesson learned?

Listening and ready to hear your most heartfelt plea when you are ready to offer it

Even as you resist I think we all know in time you will crumble

The miracle will come or it will not

Whatever is the Lord's will so shall be our will

Eager we await Heaven's verdict

Follow your heart and surely you will find what is right

Owe it to yourself more than to anyone else to do this

Release those demons binding you and seek a new, better path

God will reach out to you if you in turn reach out to him

It's all in your hands now

Victory so close at hand to remake yourself into a better and more understanding man

Every precious minute you wait is another wasted chance you should't want to miss

You can rise above this someday if you really want to

Only you now can say where your story goes from here

U do want a second chance, Jussie?

Don't you?
