Just a kiss before you go
Would mean so much to me;
It will make our parting easier
If you hold me tenderly.

Leaving you is difficult,
I’d much prefer to stay;
I hope the time goes quickly by
‘Til we share another day.

So hold me close just one more time
I need your sweet embrace;
Let me snuggle up to you
And gaze upon your face.

Just one more kiss before you go,
Our time together’s fleeing;
But, hopefully, it won’t be long
Until a future meeting.
