Just A Little Poem by Lauren Harris

Just A Little

Just a prick, he says
Just a tug, she says
Not much pain at all
Just a little...

Just a scratch, he smiles
Just a stictch, she sighs
Not much blood at all
Just a little...

Just a cut, I say
To make the pain go away
Just a memory
Long since past...

Just some blood
Nothing more
Just a heart
On the floor...

Just enough
To make it bleed
Just enough
To make me see...

That my past hurts me
More than I could physically
Because, after all
These cuts hurt only...
Just a little...
