As wind blows and leaves rustle, always have a smile on your face
As rain falls and roads flood, the water you should, try to embrace,
As the world fights and war breaks out, be sure to keep peace in your heart
As children scribble upon the walls, try to accept – to them it is art
As sun shines and drought begins, try to keep your spirits high
If you lose love, your heart is broken, try to keep a dry eye,
As you read news of terrorism, people are being killed
Remember to cherish what you’ve got, keep your life fulfilled
If you feel that you have failed, you’re feeling sorry for yourself
Think of those worse off than you, leave your sorrow on the shelf
For life is too short to drown in fear, too short to let it go
Always keep your loved ones close, tell them you love them so
Accept your emotions, they are human, don’t hide them deep inside
But please don’t let them ruin you, be sure to keep your pride
Keep your chin up everyday, keep thinking positively
Take this advice and hopefully, you wont turn out like me!
