Just Another Dream
Last night I dropped a dream
It turned into a moonbeam
I tried so hard to chase its hue
And then I looked, it became a dew
Too soft to hold and crystal pure
Fell on a flower, so demure
As the Night in silent serenade
Watched the tiny moonbeam slowly fade
Then with the light of coming Dawn
I woke, the dream, like mist had gone!
I tried to recall if the dream was mine
But the Day had turned it into sunshine.

clever ditty moonbeam dream into sunshine very nice to read this original poem...luvli theme and thanks...regards
Absolutely beautiful poem, flowing with a natural sense of living mystery! This is very, very good.
Very pretty little poem Cynthia, I like the idea of dreams turning into sunshine. Not much chance of that here in GB at the present time - the jet stream is messing up our summer grand style! !
