Just because Poem by Marianne Soher

Just because
The sun was so bright today,
And pearls of fresh rain still roll over the window…
And just because
I keep carrying memories of your laughter

Just because
The coffee was just right today,
And breakfast scents still saturate my soul…
And just because
I keep seeing your dark flowing hair

Just because
Life is so good to me
And I keep begging for more
And just because
I wanted you to dance with us

So, just because
I think it should be told again
Just because I kept saying it for so many years
And so, just because it is your birthday today
Hear, Hear! I love you so!

And there I go again…
I’ve said it again.
Just because it happens to be true,
And just because I felt like...
