Just Fiction Poem by J.T. Solomon

Just Fiction

My blade is my very own metallic potion,
Its edge helps me control this dark emotion,

The pain melts away as if it were ice on a summer day,
My blood represents my pain unhurriedly flowing away,

To distance my mind from the pain,
I grab my blade and press it to my vein,

I slide it slowly so I can enjoy watching my blood spill,
You will never understand how I love the comforting chill,

The pain is my addiction,
But you think my pain is just fiction,

You think its all for attention,
You don’t understand my coping invention.

The one I have created to get out of this depression
