I am slowing
To be with you till the end,
Where it’s flowing,
Even if I’m just a friend

You are important
To me,
I won’t go rampant
Because of thee

On the fourth of July,
If you forgot your key
You can rely
On me

I’ll put life on pause
Like in a video game
I’ll do it because
I don’t like everything the same

I forget my studies for school
To be with you,
I’m not just trying to be cool,
When doing what you do

Knowledge isn’t as important
To me as you are,
I’ll do everything possible even if I can’t
Get far

It’s hard to drive a car
With you inside
I want to know more about who you are
Beyond what’s on the outside

I get distracted
When you walk by
I feel like I was netted
By the sky

You’re so beautiful
Especially when mad
Because you look like you’ll ruffle
Just a tad

You’re too kind
To me,
I don’t mind
Because I love thee
