Just One More Ignorant Ignoramus Poem by Francis Duggan

Just One More Ignorant Ignoramus

He is a poetry expert at least he feels that way
And on what others write which is their business he likes to have his say
The chance to offend people he choose to dislike but does not know he never fails to miss
Just one more arrogant ignoramus to him ignorance is bliss
He fancies himself as a great poet though great poets are very rare
His thoughts on poets and poetry with the World he likes to share
So many judgemental and self opinionated people in the World Wide Web of today
Without being asked to on others they do like to have their say
A wise old lady once told me when I was knee high tall
If you do not have something nice to say on someone why say anythging at all
And never try to make an enemy of one you do not know
In life we do need every friend why try to make a foe
And arrogance and ignorance are siblings it does seem
And those who deliberately set out to offend suffer of low self esteem.
