Justified Poem by Luz Hanaii

Justified

Rating: 5.0

You blamed me for your sins
I heard the anger rise-up in your voice
as you tried to justify yourself.
I gave you a couple of reasons, but you were not listening.
I could have said more to try to convince you and
brought out more good points in my defense
yet I soon realized it was futile.
After your anxiously agitated display
I said nothing.
I let you think you had won the battle.
Today you feel justified,
but Life will eventually teach you.
