Keep Holding On
Where are you?
Can't you hear me?
I guess I'm talking
to a wall cause i'm screaming.
Im restless,
Can't sleep,
to many thoughts bout
what's going to happen to me.
Bags under my eyes,
I dont know how
many times I cried.
Mascara on pillow cases,
Im getting tired
of looking at yall's faces.
Life is unfair,
but you dont seem to care.
You got you'r head
up in the clouds,
And i'm trying not
to drown,
drown in my own tears.
Just too many fears,
I wish I wasn't here
And I wish that you
would care.
I'm hiding behind a smile,
nobody knows the truth,
we all lie and say
we're okay.
In reality,
we're all scared,
we're all hurt,
but we just got to
keep holding on,
and maybe one day,
the birds will be singing,
the sun will be shining,
and everything will be okay.
